June 1, 2025

Discussion Questions:

  1. What surprised you most about the idea that the Christian life is a battleground, not a playground? How have you experienced this in your walk with Jesus?

  2. Why is it dangerous to underestimate the enemy? How does culture disguise spiritual attacks?

  3. Which area do you tend to fight in your own strength instead of relying on God's power? What’s the difference between self-help and Spirit-help?

  4. How have you seen the enemy use one of the ‘four faces’ (Deceiver, Destroyer, Ruler, Accuser) against you recently? What truth from Scripture can confront that lie?

  5. In what ways do we try to fight the wrong enemy? Why is it easier to blame people than fight the real source?

  6. Read Ephesians 6:14-18. What piece of God’s armor do you tend to leave off most days? What would it look like to “suit up” first thing every morning?

  7. What does it mean to fight from victory, not for it? How does Jesus’ finished work on the cross change how we fight?
