Discussion Questions:

Pastor Sean mentioned 3 Biblical Truths about serving. The first was “Jesus Modeled Serving.” Read Matthew 20:24-28. Why do you think Jesus emphasized serving over seeking titles or positions?
Read John 13:4-5 & 12-15 out loud. What does it mean to you personally that Jesus washed His disciples' feet? Is there someone in your life who lives this way, metaphorically washing the feet of others? Who is that person?
The second Biblical Truth mentioned was “Saved People Serve People.” Read Mark 2:1-5 & 10-12. What stands out to you about the four friends who brought the paralyzed man to Jesus?
What are some specific ways we can carry others to Jesus in our community? Is there a time you served someone in a big or small way, and it had a lasting impact on your heart?
The third Biblical Truth about serving was “Serving Transforms a Crowd Into Family.” How has serving (or seeing others serve) helped you feel more connected to The Bayou Church? Hint: Your Small Group leader is serving right now!
